我前陣子去礁溪度假泡溫泉,退房後去吃礁溪街上有名的八寶冬粉。


我們點了麻醬麵、炸醬麵、肉羹湯、綜合羹湯、涼拌茄子、香菜卷以及鴨賞。

麻醬麵的麵條口感不錯,是中等寬度,略薄片類似意麵的麵條,搭配濃度適中的麻醬帶有一點蒜香,宜蘭地區的麻醬麵真的隨便吃都好吃!
而炸醬麵則有著獨特的醬料鹹香,麵條和麻醬麵的相同,整體味道也很協調美味。兩者各具特色,還好我們一人一種麵,兩種都能吃到。

接著是肉羹湯和綜合羹湯。這兩碗湯都讓我感受到了濃郁鮮香的湯底和豐富的配料。
肉羹湯的湯底鮮甜可口還帶有一點宜蘭地區特有的蒜味肉羹的調味風格,給了不少大塊的羹,
綜合羹湯則包含肉羹、蝦球、花枝羹三款配料。
湯的口感滑順,配料的鮮味彼此融合,略帶甜味與蒜味,加一點烏醋,更給予了湯品更多的層次感和豐富度。

在小菜方面,涼拌茄子和香菜卷給我留下了深刻的印象。
涼拌茄子切成段,搭配著香蒜醬料,茄子的質地柔軟,入口即化。
而香菜卷則是用煙燻的豆皮包裹著新鮮的香菜和脆口的榨菜絲,超級特別。
我在別地方真的沒吃過這種,有一點像是素食的小菜,因為香菜特殊香味的加成,
每一口都帶來了清新的口感,令人難以忘懷,當然對香菜痛恨者而言就是無法體會的一道了,哈哈。

最後,我要提到的是鴨賞,口感鮮嫩肥美,店家很特別的使用醋(應該是白醋)來當調味,讓原本很鹹的鴨賞,
擺脫過去既有的死鹹印象,變的酸甜鹹具有,十分開胃,唯獨有幾塊帶有一點點骨頭,所以食用時要小心。

八寶冬粉地理位置方便,如果去礁溪,我忍不住就要去吃碗麵配個小菜。
我那天剛好在吃麵時,聽到隔壁的德陽宮在放鞭炮,有遊覽車要入廟進香,十分熱鬧,
也因此更多客人湧入此店。如果你來到礁溪,有機會可以試試看特別的香菜卷。

Recently, I went on a vacation to Jiaoxi and enjoyed some hot springs. After checking out, we went to a famous place on Jiaoxi Street called "Eight Treasure Mung Bean Noodles" for a meal.

We ordered sesame sauce noodles, fried sauce noodles, meat thick soup, mixed thick soup, chilled eggplant, coriander rolls, and roasted duck.
The sesame sauce noodles had a good texture with medium-width mung bean noodles, similar to glass noodles. They were paired with a moderately thick sesame sauce that had a hint of garlic flavor.
The fried sauce noodles had a unique savory sauce. The noodles were made of mung bean/glass noodles, and the overall taste was well-balanced and delicious. Luckily, we ordered one type of noodle each, so we got to taste both.

Next were the meat thick soup and mixed thick soup. Both soups had a rich and flavorful broth with generous ingredients.
The meat thick soup had a sweet and savory broth with a hint of Yilan's signature garlic flavor. It contained large chunks of meat.
The mixed thick soup included meat, shrimp balls, and squid balls. The soup had a smooth texture, and the flavors of the ingredients blended together, slightly sweet with a hint of garlic. Adding a dash of black vinegar added more layers and richness to the soup.

In terms of side dishes, the chilled eggplant and coriander rolls left a deep impression on me. The chilled eggplant was cut into sections and paired with a flavorful garlic sauce. The texture of the eggplant was soft and melted in the mouth. The coriander rolls were wrapped in smoked tofu skin, filled with fresh coriander and crispy shredded pickled vegetables. It was truly unique! 🩵🩵🩵
I haven't encountered this dish elsewhere. It resembled a vegetarian appetizer, and the distinctive aroma of coriander added a refreshing taste to each bite. It was unforgettable, but of course, those who dislike coriander won't be able to appreciate it, haha.

Lastly, I want to mention the roasted duck. It had a tender and succulent texture, and the restaurant used vinegar (probably white vinegar) as a seasoning, transforming the originally salty roasted duck into a savory and slightly sweet dish. It was very appetizing. Just be cautious as some pieces may contain small bones.

Eight Treasure Mung Bean Noodles is conveniently located, and if you're in Jiaoxi, I can't resist recommending a bowl of noodles with some side dishes. While I was enjoying my meal, I heard firecrackers from the neighboring De Yang Palace as a tour bus arrived for a temple visit, adding to the lively atmosphere. As a result, more customers flocked to the restaurant. If you visit Jiaoxi, don't miss the opportunity to try the unique coriander rolls.
