昨天中午餓的要命
雖然先喝了有飲的珍奶續一下命
但還是要趕快吃飯比較實在
殺去西門町吃采宏牛肉麵

我點牛肉麵細麵 老公點牛雜麵粗麵
照片是我的麵 雖然說是細麵 根本就是烏龍麵等級的尺寸喔
粗麵的話 是直接像刀削麵那種真的很粗的麵條

以前附近的中興醫院一帶有所謂的牛肉麵街 價格都不貴 然後麵多肉多 有點粗獷的風格 吃一碗牛肉麵 再買一袋現打果汁 真的是蠻美好的童年回憶
後來牛肉麵街消失了 很多的牛肉麵店都遷移到西寧南路 洛陽街 峨嵋街一帶了 之前住西門町附近的飯店時 陸陸續續探訪了幾家 後來比較喜歡 也比較常吃的是這家采宏

吃牛肉麵當然要上桌加點酸菜 然後放一些橘色的牛油才會對味欸 或許是真的大為增添了風味 或許是吃這種有點歲月的牛肉麵 開吃前的儀式感 總之 必須要加的啊

今天麵上來的溫度 麵和湯都很燙 我最喜歡這樣了 然後牛肉很軟嫩大塊 湯頭就是中規中矩的紅燒湯 不會偏甜 麵條也QQ的 加了牛油有點辣 然後酸菜更讓麵條更鹹香
這樣一碗100元 這個價格會讓它顯得更好吃欸不是嗎?😂

老公那碗的牛雜麵裡面的牛肚(?)也很好吃很軟嫩 沒有怪味 我們另點了一份水餃 皮也很Q 是高麗菜豬肉口味的 但內餡感覺有點鬆散 水份有點多 是蠻清淡的風格 稍微不是那麼合口味

便宜又好吃 吃完心滿意足買個咖啡閃人回家 可惜沒走去附近的巷子買一袋童年回憶的現打果汁 下次再去吧👏

Yesterday, I was extremely hungry at noon. Although I had a refreshing bubble tea to temporarily satisfy my hunger, I knew I needed to have a proper meal as soon as possible. So, I rushed to Ximending to have a bowl of Tsai Hung beef noodles.

I ordered the beef noodles with thin noodles, while my husband ordered the beef offal noodles with thick noodles. The photo shows my bowl of noodles, and despite being labeled as "thin noodles," they were actually the size of udon noodles. As for the thick noodles, they resembled knife-cut noodles with their substantial thickness.

There used to be a street known as the "Beef Noodle Street" near the Zhongxing Hospital, where the prices were affordable, and the portions of both noodles and meat were generous. The style had a rugged charm to it. Eating a bowl of beef noodles and then buying a bag of freshly squeezed fruit juice was truly a wonderful childhood memory. However, the beef noodle street disappeared, and many of the beef noodle shops relocated to Xining South Road, Luoyang Street, and Emei Street. When I lived near Ximending, I gradually visited a few of them. Eventually, I developed a preference for and frequently visited Tsai Hung.

When it comes to eating beef noodles, it's essential to have some pickled vegetables on the side and add a dollop of orange-colored beef fat to enhance the flavor. Perhaps it truly adds a distinct taste, or maybe it's the sense of ceremony before devouring this nostalgic beef noodle dish. Regardless, it's a must-have. The first photo shows how the dish looked when it was served, and the second one depicts the satisfying result after adding the condiments.

Today, the temperature of the noodles and the broth was piping hot, which is how I like it. The beef was tender and in large chunks, and the broth had a well-balanced, mildly sweet, braised flavor. The noodles had a nice chewiness to them as well. Considering the price of 100 NTD per bowl, it made the dish even more delicious, don't you think? 😂

The beef tripe in my husband's bowl of beef offal noodles was also delicious and tender, without any strange taste. We also ordered a plate of dumplings with cabbage and pork filling. The dumpling skin was chewy, but the filling felt slightly loose and had a bit too much moisture. It had a rather light flavor and didn't quite match our taste preferences.

However, the beef noodles were truly satisfying—affordable and delicious. After finishing our meal and feeling content, we bought a coffee to go and headed back home. It's a pity we didn't walk to the nearby alley to buy a bag of childhood memories in the form of freshly squeezed fruit juice. We'll have to do that next time. 👏
